I’ve been working on painting. Abstraction, automatic drawing, intuition and the childhood self . Colors, objects (fruit), music and beads reference my understanding of home. What feels non figurative, is actually inspired by nature. The natural foliage of the tropical rainforest. Branches and leaves are in constant composition of abstract forms, each with unique shapes and shades that overlap into bigger compositions that eventually become the trees and mountains that are shown in landscape paintings.
