Artesanías

This started with a residency with ArtesanoGroup in the island of Margarita.

An opportunity to learn from artisans about local traditions and about popular art as a crucial way to better understand my country and its culture.

I’ve continued to work with the artisans I met, and now this part of the practice has also expanded to working with designer friends and local tailors.

Collaborating with photographers like Silvana Trevale, Genesis Cabrera, Josselyn Chalbaud and designer Maria Alicia Espinoza to continue expanding the vision of home.
